Thermostat cracked???

Hi I have a 3.0 automatic hilux surf, we've recently had a big freeze and my cooling system froze she's running OK now thawed but won't hold water due to the pictured crack, is this the thermostat housing? Is it a big job to replace? And is there any related damage I need to look for?

Sounds like from the description. Difficult to tell what else was damaged, you will have to run it and see. Empty out the water and refill with proper coolant/antifreeze.

Thanks guys! it is stat housing so I can't fill the rad with anything, it's pouring on the floor, she starts and runs but obviously can't leave her on with an empty rad, any ideas on a part number, as it's a Japanese import motorworld is kicking up my reg as a sports car pmsl, I live 4mile from nearest bus
