Dash Lights

Hi All

Just reading a thread on the 2.8 section re fuel filter warning light and it set me wondering just what warning lights I should have on my dash ie turbo warning, doors open and fuel filter.
How do I know what lights I should have and how can I check them.
(I hate to have things that don't work)

When I took the dash apart to change the card on the speedo over to MPH, I took the opportunity to take out all the little bulbs and clean the contacts (they just have bare wires sticking out, folded back against the glass, a bit like xmas tree lights) and now I have all sorts of lights I didn't know I had before !

Shouldnt all the warning lights illuminate when the ignition is initially switched on, except Turbo, that is??
