Correct Oils

A friend who is a diesel fitter helped me change the oil in the front and rear diffs. as well as the transfer box. We used what was mentioned in haynes manual hypoid 75 90 gearoil throughout. I feel the hilux is running slightly noisier but think it could be my imagination. Or should the oil be different for one of the diffs ??
Please advise me on this,

Forgot To Mention

I forgot to mention that we also changed the gearbox oil as well to hypoid 75 90 and the vehicle is a 1990 2.4 td.
