I have to have my head gasket replaced and possibly the head, can anyone recommend a reliable, good, trustworthly (ok, maybe not all 3) in the London area ?

There is a Jap import place in Hertford, Hertfordshire called molewood garage.

The chaps name is doug, I am not sure if he does the work himself or he uses another chap but he does work on Surfs all the time.

I know a very good and trusty mechanic who has done all our cars for years... although all he has done to my Surf so far is MOT it but he been doing my Dads landcruiser for ages.
He's off the A406 near Edmonton.

still not got my surf back from the guy in wickford he says tomorrow now coz he has spent all of today in chelmsford trying to get reg docs for a motor so if you have the time to wait i will let you know the qualituy of his work and the price
