  • Suspension Lift

    Hi All
How do I find out if my surf has already had a Suspension Lift or not??
It appears higher than most 4x4's . Is there a measurement from the floor to ?bumper ect..
    Thanks
    Mark

Measure from bottom of rim to top of wheel arch at rear and if around 700mm then this is about standard height. Also depends on spring sag etc.I replaced with 40mm raised springs and got a 60mm lift. This probably means the old springs had sagged 20mm and original height was 720mm.Hope that makes sense.

          ?? Been Out

          Hi
Got the tape out and measured from the rimm of the wheel to the top of the wheel arch..700mm.. then I thought the tyres are not standard but BFGoodrich 31x10.50 on alloys ? is the rimm on these the same as a standard tyre or larger?

Can I take the measurement from any where else to get an accurate idea

          Confused
