Just a quick update on my head problem.......luckily it was not the head.....un-luckily it was much worse, corroded bores, head etc etc etc, but thanks to Steve in Stockport all is now well. Anyone considering having any engine work done make him your first port of call. There are so many cowboys out there it is nice to deal with someone who knows there stuff and treats the customer well.

The Bottom Line

Cost me £2115, but money well spent in my opinion. Had the surf for three years now, have owned most of the competition, and the Surf is one if not the best all rounder. Fortunately in my job I get to drive them all, just had a 4.4 V8HSE Discovery3 on test at work (15mpg if you take it easy!). An honestly prefer the Surf.

Im glad STEVO could sort it out for you mate, I popped in the other week & saw your baby with no engine in it, At least its better now.
