Hi
Does anyone know how to remove the dash board clock and where to get a replacement. The one I have in the surf has been blacked out with paint and does not seem to work ?..why would you do that..

Just thought

Is there a fuse for the clock...maybe it was too bright for the last owner and they blacked it out and or removed the fuse??

I have some details of dashboard dismantling on my site, if yours is the same as mine the clock is part of the centre dash, so start here:

Not a difficult job but not a 5 min job either becuase you have to remove a lot of the other parts of the dash before you can remove the centre part.

Do you know if the clock is a standard clock or can be bought anywhere

Follwing the instruction in the above post I found the clock had been disconected at the back..so I reconnected it and it works fine now
