  • no nasty shock?

    excuse the pun......
Need to disconnect the power to my stereo as it has a fault and kenwood says drop the power out for 10 mins is the answer!

Dont want to strip out the dash - so thought about removing the battery terminals to cut the power.

If I disconnect both bats - will I cause some problem to occur that I haven't thought of -

Dont want to crack on and find that before disconnecting you must do....... etc etc.

someone with a technical brain please let me know.

That should be fine. Usual disclaimer applies, blah blah blah.

    Things that you will notice.
Radio will lose all its settings, and presets.
Clock will stop at the time you disconnect the battery.
You could upset the alarm (have the remote at the ready).

If you remove the ash tray can you reach the radio loom from underneath?
