4 wheel drive not engaging

My next problem is that my 4 wheel drive does not work , the motor / solenoid wot ever it is on the back of the transfer box works and the prop to the front dif engages but the front wheels dont . The blue and red vacuum switches on the inner wing near the fuses are working and the blue one creates vacuum when the 4 wheel drive button is pressed and it causes vacuum at the bottom end by the front diff and the same for the red one when the button is released , the green light on the dash comes on to say its engaged but no action , wot happens inside the workings that the vacuum pipes go to at the front of the diff , many thanks for any help wayne

Ok that was simple enough , the fork / prong / slider piece wasnt moving very freely so i cleaned it out with the airline tipped some very thin oil in and worked for about 15 mins until it moved nicely , blew it out with the airline once again and fitted it back on the motor , all works perfectly now.
