Quick question to save ruining my weekend.
This morning tailgate window will not open. Window switch makes clicking contact noise in the tailgate and so does the key switch but nothing happens. The spring in the key switch is broken and it is the only thing I didnt fix in a complete nut and bolt overhaul of the whole window mechanism two months ago and all was working perfectly. Last night I closed the window with the key and i must have pulled the key out leaving the key switch in the closing position. I am pretty sure that the motor had stopped running though. What is the most likely damage caused resulting in the window not opening? The thoughts of lying on my belly for the day trying to work out where the fault is ugh...grrrr
