  • 2 wires behind grille

Have found two wires - that look factory fitted - tucked behind the front grille .
One each side, covered with black flexi pipe and ending in a black plug.

    Any clues people?

Could they (hopefully) be for spot lights??
    .......because I can....OK!

Yep almost definitely. If they're factory fitted you should have a switch on the dash somewhere for them. Unless someone removed that too.

        ok - thats great.

But have no front fog switch?

Could these be converted for spots - or will current be too high, and be somehow linked into the dipped beam already.

So this is just a loose end of the wiring loom then.

They are for fog lights on mine.Switch for these is on centre console.Have a look under console if the switch is not there. You may find the other end of the wiring there.

You'd need to wire the relay differently when you find it. Spots should have the feed wired from main beam. Fog lamps are fed from the sidelamps.
