  • Where to get new fuel pump?

I have diesel ####ing out the bottom of my car so I assume it's the fuel pump. Anybody know where to get one. Google isn't playing nice. 2.4 93 by the way

It's coming from behind something covered. The fuel pump is behind the cam belt cover so I can't see it .

i would say get sumbody that knows to look at it
the only thing behind the cam cover is the cam
the pump is on the side of the engine everybody
knows that or is this a wind up

Any pics of where the pump is. I saw a guide on how to change it that claimed it was behind the cam cover.

                Hi,

If you type kz te diesel pump or injection pump into google images you get a few pictures but they are not great.

It's a Denso ECD V4 pump, also found in the 5L engine.

Over here diesel pumps get serviced and cleaned up rather than swapped for new ones.
Why don't you get a friendly mechanic to remove yours and send it to a diesel tuning place for them to get it checked and refurbished?

                These guys here:

                http://www.dieselbob.co.uk/injectionpumps.aspx

seem to get good reviews. Probably plenty more places like that in UK.

                Good luck!

Thanks guys. Turns out the seal under the top sensor was leaking. Got the kit off of RT and swapped. Well kind of. Kit didn't contain a seal anywhere near the same size as what I pulled off of the sensor so I ended up using an o ring from my plumbing box. Seems to work though. On to the next problem I guess. Just have to hope the rest of the seals don't start going just yet.
