On mine it's for the fog lamp, depends on previous owners though so, might not be the same on yours

Had the same thing on mine, was for front fog lights that were never there lol.
Stupid thing was it was wired in with the factory fitted fog light switch, so had to switch on both to turn on the rear fog light! That idea was very short lived.
