I got a full engine gasket set from Milner Off Road a couple weeks back for £35.

Worth calling them for a price first as you'll guarantee a decent quality.

Thanks for the reply,but fingers crossed and after 2 days of messing about, got the new head I had in the shed ready, changed rad cap and thermostat as a last resort today, ran it up to temp all the pipes went hard no heat from heaters, so turned it off and prepared my self for the head change, when all of a sudden very large gush out of the rad cap hole.It seems like a very large air lock, now when it's running pipes feel about right, so as I say fingers crossed all is ok, thanks again.. Mick
