Please help need to know these sensors!!!

hi, I have a 93 L130W surf and installed new engine recently and having problems starting the truck, once it starts it runs perfectly but always takes alot of winding and pressing of fuel to start. I am missing a few sensors on the thermostat housing which the mechanic told me is the problem he plugged it into computer and it wasn't reading a "coolant temperature" and said this is why she will not start properly so can anyone identify these for me please! also the new motor is from a 92 and it seems the sensor "wiring from the truck isnt matching up to the new motor ? pics below

no its diesel 2.4 liter

A is the sensor for the small electric fan on the front of the radiator. If you unplug it with the engine running it'll turn the fan on. B is the sensor for the water temperature gauge on the dashboard. C I'm not sure about, it's not there on mine. Mine's a 1992 2.4 SSRX.
