  • Curious about a part

I am curious about a thing on my surf, I have what looks like a radiator right above the bash plate, I am just wondering if anyone knows what it is, because I have not seen it on all surfs

I thought it was that as well possibly, just wanted to make sure, because im going through slowly trying to see what I can do to increase power, and was thinking about fitting an atf cooler

Increase the power output on a 2.4?
Don't waste your time, just trade it in for a 3.0.

yeah, but seeing what I can do, not even as much power all together, just pick up a bit more

Throw air con in the bin = instant extra 25 bhp

                      lol

I actually had the aircon off once, but aussie summers are brutal

"speed's just a question of money. How fast you wanna go?"
The air con will suck power.
Removing it, especially if your not bothered about venting refrigerant to atmosphere, is easy enough.
I think all in the air con system weighs about 30kgs, although I am happy to be corrected on this.
If you off road and go through mud the air con condenser is pointless.

I was actually wondering the other day when i was stripping the forward bumber as to how much power would i have if i stripped it down lol.

Thinking about adding an at cooler

                            The truck weighs about 2000kg.
It is about as aerodynamic as a brick.
                            You have about 90 hp.
It is not a recipe for a tarmac burning speedster.
