I can concur, If I drive it with a heavy foot it just eats the diesel, but if driven as above I get 30mpg no probs...

Past caring these days..started off like a saint...no heavy foot, wash,clean regualrly and so on...

Well now its...
1.who cares...just enjoy
2. Mud..mud..and more mud
3. Occasional wash/wax polish after jaunts off-road

Yeah, unfortunately you dont have my wife breathing down yer neck given that part of my justification for purchasing the thing was fuel economy (compared to the Ford Ka it replaces!). mmmmm sticky wicket or what.
