stalling

hiya, would anyone hve any idea why my surf would cut out after flying up steep hill,then i bear left and then cuts out. it starts straight away after but why is this happening?
hav just had new rocker cover gasket and had my turbo reconned.
has been running fine for work all week, going well up even steeper hills as i go over the mountain to work and back, but today, on my hill it done it again. i'm worried about hitting someone when there's no steering.

any ideas guys?

Probably a small vacuum pipe not connected on or around the throttle body somewhere.

could i be pushing it too hard going 40 up hengoed hill, i could only do 40 in my 2litre astra up it
