Posible mistake made

Started to strip my old head ready for collection by Roughtrax, am I right in thinking that the injectors (diesel 2.4) should not be taken apart and should be removed in one piece?

I was removing the first one and thought all was going well, managed to get a an old spark plug socket to fit and seemed to loosen it without too much trouble, then I noticed that the injector had come apart, does this mean I've damaged it?

Not advised to pull them apart but if you managed to put them together again in the same order the bits came out you should get away with it.
Youll know if you get it wrong as it wont fit together or it may fit but run like a tractor

Should be ok if you put it back together and have not lost a shim out of it.
