tappets

hi all im new to the surf its a 2.4td i was just woundering are the tappets hydrolics as mine have just started to rattle alittle and want to ajust them

No, they use shims to set the clearance

thanks how can i rejuice the noise from it on tick over as when the turbo is working the noise stops
