Hi there. Just had the engine out of my 2.4 surf to replace the sump. Now its all back in the engine managent light is on and the turbo light wont come on. Also its no running great and theres no power in the hills? Any help would really be appreciated

Easier to drop the diff to do the sump. Anyway, do a fault code check.

Could be the hose from manifold to the Turbo Sensor not connected.

Where abouts is the turbo sensor? Up at the throttle housing?Comment

Should be on a bracket fitted to the air filter housing.

Yeah took a good look at all hoses and all seem to be in the correct place. Did a diagnosis and got code 11. Which am assuming is the pump timer control valve since its a manual and doesnt have a switch sign which is normally 11.
When a replaced the engine i resoldered one of the plugs on the pump. The brown one on the side? Ive pulled both that and the timer control valve plugs out while the enigine is running and has had no effect
At a bit of a loss what to try next :/Comment

Thats it running now. Resoldered that brown plug on the side of the pump and its going like a dream now
