We just got Laura's Surf home today after getting the autobox replaced with a manual, and it felt very good!
A few things have appeared that I would appreciate any advice on - the rev counter is no longer working and the red turbo light is permanently on, and also the hard/normal ride light has ceased working.
The mechanic had to change the speedo as part of the conversion as they differ from the auto to the manual, so has he missed something that has meant the rev counter has died, which links in the with turbo light being on? Or could it be simply a loose connection somewhere, and could the same apply to the suspension light?
It is unlikely that I will be able to sort these myself so I am asking for opinons to pass on to the mechanic.
