I fear trying to squeeze more power for my 3.0 incase the head cracks I wouldn't even think about it on a 2.4 as they are much worse. I have not had my Surf long but I soon found that it is better to leave them alone. A crap cooling system and a weak head is not a good combination.

i dont have an issue with the power i was just wondering what stuff you could do with it thats all

You are best off buying a couple of these. Don't get too many though, or you can seriously overstress the flux capacitor.

I have a dump valve fitted to mine, gives approx 15bhp more
