ol smokey 2.4

my 2.4 j reg smokes like a chimmey when cold going up hills and ever pull away
its also down on power on pullaway but still good on motorways
towing is a nightmare

egr blanked off on pipe at both ends
things iv done so far
changed oil and filter
changed fuel filter
changed injectors
dropped and cleaned tank
THE SMOKE IS BLACK
i was on veg for a while but now on diesel again due to hearing storys

iv still got 8 moths MOT and driveing it dayly but after that. if not fixed it gets scrapped due to noway of passing the test

so any idears be welcome

Does the green turbo light come on at around 1800 rpm?
Check that this short rubber pipe is secure.....

Black smoke can be due to over fuelling, a blocked air filter or other restriction in the intake ducting.

tubo light comes on when it should
had new air filter when oil as changed

and turbo pipes were cleaned out and chacked when injectors were changed today
