I've got loads of those fans if you ever need one though.
Does this mean you have the switches or just the fans?

Stick "M16x1.5 switch" in an EBay search - you'll find half a dozen that will do the job for £10 or less. Temperature of operation may differ by a degree or two and you may have to cut the plug off and wire direct - but no real difficulty. Saves a few quid.

Make sure it's a 'normally closed' one. Open circuit, obviously, switches the fan on.

Good point! I seem to remember reading that nearly all Japanese manufactured vehicles use earth switching - so stick with them.

              Sorry I'm confused now, LOL

open, normally closed, cutting wires???? Oh no, I'd end up turning the truck into a time bomb

Would someone be so kind to find what i need on ebay and post the link for me, I'd be very appreciative.

                            Intermotor Part no. 50380

                            http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RADIATOR-FAN-S...ht_4358wt_1163

You will have to cut off the original plug and fit a crimped female spade .

Or shell out for the £70 original

The fan switch is normally closed.
If you were to short the connector against the block the fan should not start.
The fan fuse is in the fuse box near to the battery (drivers side).
