Yes
I fitted one in mine when went to the Wales Rally GB, last november. Piece of cake.
Wired it to the permanent live from the radio and ran the aerial out to a clamp mount on my spare wheel carrier. I only used a four foot aerial though as I do use a lot of overgrown lanes.
From my house, 3 miles from the M27/M3 junction can transmit up to 10miles or there about, more than enough for a day out up the lanes.Last edited by Danno; 2 August 2004, 14:34.I NEED TO OFFROAD!

thats the sort of thing i was thinking of. was there any hassles in fitting - and where did you fit it inside the surf?
my permenant live on the radio doesn't work so i was thinking of running them both direct to the live on the battery.Dave

My HF CB is where the ash tray was,
My UHF CB is between the passenger seat and centre console
My Multichannel reciever is down beside the gearstick
and........ My Fire service UHF handheld is in the nifty pockets that I made up on the back seat....oh and the handheld GPS is in there too when not on the dash.Simon.O.
