  • What Coolant To Use?

So im doing a coolant flush on my truck this weekend coming up and was wondering if i should use regular coolant or Diesel coolant?

Does it really make a difference in our trucks

    Thanks

So, I didn't know there was specific diesel coolant.

If you're doing a complete system flush, I'd use red coolant. If you're doing a drain and top up, I'd use whatever is in there just now. Green and blue can be mixed, red can't be mixed with any other coolant.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Over here Toyota coolant is very good quality and not too expensive.

As Albannach said use same colour if not flushing and rinsing they sell a green and a red.

If changing colour flush well - I use distilled water for my final flush.

Alright thanks guys. But i looked and it's green. But i am doing a flush with a Wynns product flush chemical and then im thinking i'll still just stick with green. It's done well so far so why change.

        Thanks for the help though.

Check which one has the lowest temperature rating (red or green) It gets pretty cold in winter over there doesn't it?
