  • Viscous fan oil

I have just been looking through previous posts to find out how much oil should be put into the viscous coupling. The answers range from 35ml to 75ml, could anybody clarify this for me as it is quite a range and i want to get it right ( i hate doing stuff twice )

    thanks

So in went 50ml of 10,000 grade oil on the 24th. Today was the first run around the truck has had for a little while, coming up a quite large hill just around the corner from my house and a great sounding whoooshing noise started. The viscous fan finally kicks in when needed. The fan doesn't feel tight when cold but when hot you can really tell the difference. I would recommend replacing the viscous oil to anyone.
