  • Rear U Joint

So lately i've noticed a vibration getting worse and worse and took a look at my driveshaft and my rear u joint is clunking around.

So i was wondering how to go about it. Like i was wondering if the drivetrain is compatible with the 4runner parts or anything cause i'm not sure where to buy a u joint as i live in canada.

Cause im thinking of buying a whole driveshaft off a parts truck and just replacing the whole unit.

But If anyone can help me out that'd be great.

    Thanks

hiya.Have you got an auto or a manual truck as the rear propshafts are different.I do have a rear prop from a manual 2.4 and a auto aswell.I am happy to post them out to you if you want to cover the p&p.I have also got a couple of front drive shafts aswell.I will need to look into postage cost though to Canada for the rear props as it won't be cheap

And also what does the rear prop consist of? The whole driveshaft or the ujoint back to the rear diff?

there are 2 uj's on the rear propshaft.1 on each end.One end of the prop is short and slides into the longer section and they are splined.
