can anyone tell me if these wires should be connected, bought 1993 2.4d surf and they were already disconnected.
what are they?
what do they do?

Looks like low brake fluid wiring connector. perhaps it shows up warning light permantly so someone disconnected it

probably low fluid sensor,but from that pic. it looks empty.

I bet if you connected the wires, the light on the dash for low level would light up, I had to disconnect mine to get the light to go off. its a faulty level switch.
