  • Fuelt tank vent

Hi, i have just been poking aroung under my surf in preparation for some waxoiling this week and i found the fuel tank vent (going to protect it from getting blocked). On the vent tube appears to be a filter, i might as well renew this while i'm working underneath but i'm not sure if it has a one way valve or is it just a straight filter?

    Thanks

it's just a filter to prevent crap being sucked in so one of them small petrol fuel filters will do

Yeah as Rich said it's just a dust filter really, there's a float valve on the other end inside the tank that stops fuel leaking out of the tank if you roll the truck over.
