Been talking to a friend of mine he said that when he shipped his car over to Australia he had to drain all the fluids, fuel, oil ,water, etc. it was regulations.
Now if this is still a requirement, it was the case about 15yrs ago for him, could this contribute to the problem some Surfers are getting with the heads. ie: engine being started with no oil by mistake, air blocks in rads etc. Just a thought or have i been told a load of b******s.?......muncher

Its a possibility, but I think a dealer would have more sense than to start a rig knowing it had been empty for transporting.
There was a bad batch of heads fitted which contributed to these head problems.

Or have I got it wrong too??

Thats correct.This I believe applies to all imported vehicles.
