  • ARGHHH!! Running bad after timing belt change

I have just done timing belt, water pump, pulleys and 2 seals and has taken me all day, I try to fire it up and it turns over and over and over then fires up and runs rough as hell the smokes like crazy!
So I strip it all the way down..again(2.5 hours) and the fuel pulley was upside down! Kids hey! I let my kids help me all the time but whilst i was having lunch they were playing mechanics, my own fault for not looking! I only looked at top and bottom pulley after lunch, easy to not see third when lining them up.
Not putting it together til morning now so hope it works after this!
    NO MORE MR NICE GUY!

Better to be thought a fool than try to work on your truck and remove all doubt

Seriously, How the hell can you take it apart after geting it wrong first time, alter it and then put it together without checking it's right the second!?!?

Once is an honest begineer mechs mistake, but to get it wrong twice is muppetery of the highest order.

Go and stand and the newbie corner and stick to 3 year old threads you can answer without harm.
