Starting issues

Hey there

Been using the truck today and twice after cooling down it has trouble starting.
Im doing the double glow plug thing, as its still abit cold down here, but only do this when the engine is cold i.e first thing in the moring or left for a while.

But twice today i did the double glow plug it wouldnt start, all the lights go out on the dash and no turning over or anything.
Is it the double glow plug causing the problem?

Battery/ies discharged? As you say all the dash lights have gone out and it's not turning over.

sorry forgot to mention

battery isnt dead, as the volt meter shows its putting some charge, and it starts straight on the key.

its fine after i do 2 glow plugs, then it dies, then leave it for 10secs and start it and its all fine
