my rear door light on the dash seams to always be on ???

ive tried to open and close it, it all works fine but the light does not go out any ideas ?

Open the tailgate and slam it shut. Then, if you have a rear-mounted spare, slam that shut.

I had the same problem and found that the left hand door lock would 'open' when going over a bump. If it goes off when you have slammed the door shut, then comes back on again when driving this could well be your problem.

I replaced the door lock (easy job) for a gew quid and fixed the problem

i found the problem operator error lol

i did not know that was a light to say the door was not locked lol
