  • Rear coil springs

It depends what you want to do.

Standard springs = back to standard
RT +2 = +2", you need new +2 dampers and you'll get a bit more articulation.
LC80 Springs = +2", and you need new +2 dampers, but much cheapness and less articulation (too stiff).

If you carry ANYTHING in the boot, then get the plus 2's as they will cancel out any sag.
I didn't get +2"'s when I fitted my plus 2's, but what I did get are some superior springs which are a lot more progressive. I've put over 500 kg of bricks in the back before and had less sag than the originals with nothing in it!
If you are looking at lift, go for the +2"'s
If you are upping the TB's or fitting BJ spacers get some coil spacers as well.
And don't forget the dampers - the originals will top out with plus 2's and spacers.
I think I'll get plus 4's for my truck as I have +2 springs and 2" spacers... Makes it future proof aswell. Just in case!

You could....but it begs the question, doesn't it?

              You want lift.

The time to fit plus 2 springs is same as standard, but gives you lift.
You could just fit the plus 2's and wind up the TB's instead of doing the body lift...
Think what you want to achieve in the end, not what's next on the list...
see my thread for different pics at different stages of lift.

yes, but in reality, your shocks will still have a lot of travel. depends how much articulation you want. Remember road handling will suffer if shocker maxes out.
i'm still on standard shocks with plus 2's AND coil spacers. But someone else I know has same set up and they've maxed out.

TB = Torsion Bar = front "spring". I've got the 3.0l, but I think you do have to move the rad on yours, someone else will confirm. But only for Bodylift.

TB's won't wind up 2", maybe 1.5" I think, but might be wrong.

Have a read around the subject mate. Think you'd make a better (ie more informed) choice if you have ALL the info you need. loads of info on here.
