Air filter

Hi all,
can anyone tell me if there would be any power gain made by fitting an after market air filter to my 2.4tdi surf.(Its an EFI)

Hi Quinn,
I fitted a K&N Filter earlier this year. The truck seemed to breathe more easily and the throttle response was better. The only problem is that I do 90% motorway driving and found it too noisy. My nephew has it on his Astra now!!!

I had a K&N filter (Part number 38-9070) on my diesel for years and I didn't notice any increase in noise or performance but it saved me money because I didn't have to change it 3 times a year.

i fitted one to mine and not a lot of difference and the c0 content actually went up when hot due to the filter not getting enough cold air asd it was situated within the engine bay so a k & n panel filter is the really only one tp go for...
