Hi,
I have scanned around the forum a good bit and have bought the Max Ellery repair manual but still am not finding what I am looking for. I want to service my 93 Surf but don't know where to begin. What I need are idiot simple step by step instructions for regular chores like changing oil etc. I have a BMW motorcycle and this website http://faq.f650.com/FAQs/ or similar is what I am after. The ellery book is a confusing nightmare to be honest and doesnt anwer any of the day to day questions I have. I am wondering if the Haynes Manual is any better? I'm not interested in in depth breakdowns of every intricate part, just the "how do I do xyz" level of info.
I've also had a look at http://www.freepdfmanual.com/2009/01...e-manual-90-95
Which although good also presupposes you know where to find the bits and peices it discusses and misses out a lot of steps involved.
Can anyone offer an opinion on whether the Haynes manual has what I'm looking for?
