  • Where can I get an alternator oil pipe ?

    Hi,

Seems I am leaking oil from the feed pipe to the alternator.

Any suggestions for where to find a spare ?

Where's the leak exactly?. If it's the feed hose then that has a banjo fitting each end. Maybe a hydraulics place can remove the hose and crimp a new one on, or even supply new banjo fittings and hose fitted. You will need 10mm. The banjo bolts on the surf are M10X1.5. Don't forget the copper seals.

The part no. for the feed hose is 29331-64030. But I guess its freaking expensive at Toyota.
A farming machinery workshop should be able to fix the hose, as NivtyNev has suggested.

          Hi Nev,

It seems to be leaking from the middle, so most likely could be fixed by replacing the flexi bit.

I am only 15mins away from Rally Design, and have used them for various custom braided hose stuff, so that was my backup plan if there's not a glut of cheap replacements waiting to jump in my direction.
