Any ideas ???/

Hiya guys
Recently my surf has developed a little problem and was wondering if you experts could maybe point me in the right direction as what the problem maybe ??.
Ok
First thing in the morning when i turn the car over after letting the relay go off turn the ignition and she fires ,shes a little lumpy for a couple of seconds but after that fine no probs at all.Now when im coming home from work starts the same as the morning however Ive noticed that the revs go up slightly just under 1000 and fluctuates sounds to me like its hunting revs go up and down .Now tonight a very strange thing happened when i was coming home the engine check light come on but the turbo light wasn't coming on and i was doing about 60ish,so any ideas please ??.I should also say that I have recently give it a damn good service ,new air filter new Glow plugs oil change .

Ok im really gunna show my ignorance now m8 how do I do this ? Do I need some special bit of kit to read the faults ?

just a thought but when were the filters etc last changed

Engine light on and no turbo light. Check the turbo sensor is connected and the vacumn pipe is on. It's right by the air filter.

filters have just been changed on the service i done last week Richard ,are there other filters that i may have missed ??

Just a little update here

Mangaed to get a fault code but if im honest im not a 100% sure what it means . I get 2 blinks then a pause then another 4 blinks ,now does this mean I have two errors which are
2 - Turbo boost pressure sensor (2 blinks)
4 - Coolant temperature sensor (4 blinks)

Hi Shaun.I just got the email which came through a bit wierd for an email.Anyway i would disconnect the batteries to reset the ecu and then do the fault codes again just to make sure there are 2 faults.I should have a 3.0l turbo pressure sensor here if needed but i got no coolant sensors though
edit.sorry i meant 2.4 turbo ps

Thanks for that Richard ,Ill disconnect the batteries then to clear the codes .Was I right in my assumption of the blinks ??

From what i have read yes.There should be a full list on here of the fault codes which i keep forgetting to save and have to search the forum everytime to find them lol
