starting problems from hot

Hello Everyone

My wife and i bought a 91 2.4 ssr-x 4 weeks ago and love it , however we have noticed that after a long run that we have problems starting after leaving it for a while , it turns over fine but just won't fire up , has anyone had this problem or no what might be causing it ? It will eventualy start but maybe i'm missing something i've never owned a diesel before so any help would be appreciated

You are not the first to have this problem,
me thinks you have a kaput primer/fuel filter assembly
Don't panic yet have a quick read and see if it helps.
