Head bolt socket???

Hi Guys i need the socket for taking the head bolts out i think its a 14mm female multi spline socket can anyone confirm and dose any one have any links where i can order one?

A 12 sided 14mmm socket will do it.

Surely theres a proper socket for it? i could only get one bolt out with a 14mm

A good quality, 12 point, 14mm socket will get them out.

There is a special socket for them, but I've never needed one.

Probably is, but a Halfords pro 12 sided just did a turn for me changing my head. Didn't move even with the silly tight torque settings.

iirc it needs to be quite skinny to clear the casting on a few of the bolts (2.4). I turned down a deep 14mm socket to give the clearance when I did mine.

Its nothing special, just a 12 point bolt head instead of 6, I've lost count of the heads I've done, and always used a 14mm 1/2 drive socket.
