  • Clutch pedal sticking??

I am being haunted by my clutch and all because I fixed it myself!!

The problem now is the clutch pedal is sticking down then pinging up when in use. So when the engine is off the pedal springs back as you would expect. When the engine is on the pedal does come back up but in it's own time.

    What causes this to happen?

    Thanks
    Mark

This has been mentioned on here before and was not the clutch itself or the hydraulics . I think it was a worn or dry spindle on the clutch pedal itself . See if the pedal needs lubricating on the spindle before any bleeding or more involved work .

Checked that and appears fine as said when engine off the pedal works fine. When the engine is on the pedal gets "sticky" and now I have to hook it back up in 1st and 2nd ... getting a pain

Can anyone point me to a post telling me how to bleed the clutch ?

          Thanks so far!!

          Cheers

I had this issue with mine when i first got it and had to replace both master and slave cylinders as the internal seals had perished.
