I can hear my fuel filter!

Hi all,

I Changed my fuel filter today - refilled it, bled it/pumped the top bit etc

The engine starts and runs fine but i can hear the fuel going into my fuel filter - a kind of sloshing gurgling noise, any ideas what I've done wrong?

Sounds more like you might have air in the heater matrix - did you touch the coolant at the same time?

I did, I had the heater matrix hoses off and flushed them through with a hose pipe through because my front heating doesnt get hot, have tried bleeding it through several times in the past. I'm sure it's the fuel filter i can hear though!

Can you hear it from inside the vehicle? I can't see how that would be the filter. I might be wrong however. Have you tried bleeding the coolant system since the noises started?

I don't know yet, mine's doing the same thing, that's how I know what you're talking about I've been putting it off till I get a chance to sort something like this out: http://hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/showth...r+bleed&page=2
