Hilux pick info please 2.4 t.d

I have been offered a hilux pickup S reg 2.4 t.d what do i need to look for any info would help have been told 2.4 has head gaskit probs or is it only on the imports. Thanks Gary

an s reg 2.4 pick up should be pretty bullet proof, Just check for normal ware and tare, Rust, Oil and water
