power loss?

Any ideas on power loss?
Starts and moves, but with no power?
As many ideas as you can think of would be great as i have a few days off from wed to look into it.

It could be a vacuum line problem, I was driving down the highway one day when sudden loss in power, no turbo boost and very sluggish, turned out a vacuum hose had come loose !
check out http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/techsite/turbovacuum.htm and check all hoses. Any other symptons ?

umm?

Ok i've checked all the hoses and they all seem to be intact.
The main problem seems to be the pick up of power? from a standing position it takes off like a rock moving up hill!! The turbo light comes on but no boost? Any other ideas of what could be causing this?
