Timing Belt light

Hey,

Can anyone please help me, I have changed the timing belt, but the light keeps come on, how can I turn it off?

theres a little rubber bung in a hole in the plastic covering the front of the clocks. just to the left of the trip meter reset. pull it out and push a paperclip into the little button to reset it.

Unless its a 3rd gen, in which case the instrumnent cluster needs to come out and reset from the rear.

Thanks guys so much for your help, no it is a 2.4tdi.

My mate is driving down to South Africa, the old girl over heated in Turkey, they had to remover the engine and noticed that the clutch was done for too, lucky they noticed, because next country was Syira, and that is the last place where you would like to break done.
