Jiggle Valve position

Hello folks, Can anyone tell me the correct position in which the jiggle valve should sit at. Had a look at the previous thermostat and the jiggle valve was sitting at 3 '0 clock which does'nt seem right to me.

i don't think it will matter on the 2.4's as the thermostat sits facing down/up.The 3.0's need to have the valve at 12 o'clockas they sit sideways if you get what i mean

2.4 should be a top as well.

when you say it faces the top on the 2.4 Nev which direction do you mean as top cause with the 2.4 i am a bit confused really as the thermostat lays flat.A bit of a dumb Q but thats me

It sits vertically so 12 o'clock position for the valve.

yes so it does.i was thinkg for some reason it sat horizontal don't know why tho.

Probably thinking of the filler neck where the cap is.

yea i was and i forgot that section is bolted sideways on and not from the top
