  • Hi All need some help electriacl problem :(

i went through a lot of rivers at the weekend 2 inch above the bonnet in most places, it would seem i have picked up an electrical fault, basically all my lights on the dash have turned on EG the turbo red light, battery ,timingbelt and oil ,, at one stage on the drive back they flickerd on and of and the battery was charging again, but later they all came on again,, any ideas what has happened? has my alteranter shit its self? ive checked the wires but cant se anything obvious like a lose connection or anything .. they could be a short but im unsure where to start looking,, any help would be great

    thank you in advance

Yep, the alternator threw in the towel.
It should be OK once dried out though.

Alternator is either full of water or requires replacement ......give it a good dose of WD 40 see if that helps but it will need replacement in the near future(jokers lasted for 18 months then died)

The vacuum pump is for the ADD system and seperate from the alternator electrics.
