That is pretty much normal..

If i was getting those kind of fuel figures i wouldn't be looking for a leak!


A surf will only get low to mid 20's on MPG.

You bought a 2 tonne, old, off road, utility vehicle and expected to get the fuel consumption of a mondeo... I think that's what's wrong?

As Rod said, that's not a wonderful figure, but not awful either - we get about 25MPG (11.3 l/100km) regularly, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. Some people on here get much less, depending on what tyres, suspension and other modifications they have on.
